Reading is at the heart of our curriculum, as we believe that our being a confident reader not only provides children with fundamental life skills but also teaches them valuable lessons.  We ensure that children are exposed to a wide range of high-quality texts through school through our thoughtfully planned reading curriculum.

After phonics, we teach reading through 'Reading Workshop' which allows children to study a book as a class, while developing the key skills of reading.
