Our fantastic Year 2 class is named after Australia's national animal, the Kangaroo! 

Kangaroo Class is led by Miss Bridewell and supported by Mrs Thomas.

It's been a fantastic start to the new year with all children ready and keen to learn in Kangaroo Class! 

This half-term we have lots of exciting learning planned, including, Place-Value in Maths, writing non- fiction texts in English, habitats in Science, maps in Art, finding out all about how schools were different in the past within our History lessons and answering the question 'Is it possible to be kind to everyone all of the time?' in RE. 

The children have already got really stuck into thinking of ideas for our non-fiction texts all about pirates! 

Our PE days are Mondays and Thursdays where the Year 2 children are developing their Fundamental and Fitness skills acquired in Year 1. Please ensure that PE kits come into school on a Monday in a PE bag and we will send them home on Fridays.
